3M Hook & Loop Fastener (SJ3571/SJ3572 with Acrylic Adhesive)

Quick Overview: High‑strength hook and loop with durable acrylic adhesive backing. Great for RC aircraft where you need removable, vibration‑resistant fastening.

Balsa

• Sticks well to bare or sealed balsa.
• Press firmly and allow time for full bond.

Film Coverings (Monokote, Ultracote, etc.)

• Acrylic adhesive struggles on slick films.
• Light scuffing or primer improves hold.

Foams

• EPS (polystyrene): Bonds well, but foam may tear if removed.
• EPP/EPO (polypropylene blends): Poor direct adhesion. Use a primer or apply a thin cured layer of flexible glue (e.g. Goop, UHU Por) before sticking.
